Moriarty's has anchored the corner of 12th and Walnut since 1976 — one of the last true old-guard Irish sports bars in Center City. The wings won 'Best in Philly' more than once and are still worth ordering.
On St Patrick's Day, it opens early for Irish breakfast, runs pipers through the door around noon, and pivots to full sports-bar mode for whatever's on TV that afternoon.
