Tír na nÓg

Logan Square's Irish anchor — and the closest proper pub to the parade route.

📍 1600 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19103

Tír na nÓg — the name means 'Land of Youth' in Irish — sits at 16th & Arch, a five-minute walk from the parade step-off at 16th & JFK. That location makes it the single best pre- and post-parade pub in Philadelphia.

The room is huge for a Center City bar: two floors, high ceilings, a wraparound bar downstairs. On March 17th, pipers march through the front door on the hour and the corned beef and cabbage runs from open to close.

It's also one of the few Irish pubs in Philly that genuinely programs live traditional Irish music year-round.

St Patrick's Day plan

Grab a table 90 minutes before parade step-off (10:30am is safe). Order the corned beef plate and a black-and-tan. Head to the Parkway for the parade, come back after for pipers.
