Fadó Irish Pub

A Dublin pub, imported plank-by-plank to the corner of 15th & Locust.

📍 1500 Locust St, Philadelphia, PA 19102

Fadó is part of a small international group of purpose-built Irish pubs — the interior was designed in Ireland, built in Ireland, then shipped to Philadelphia and reassembled. The result is a genuinely convincing Dublin snug in the middle of Center City.

On St Patrick's Day, Fadó throws one of the largest street parties in Philadelphia. The block of Locust between 15th and 16th closes down, tents go up, and the whole thing runs from breakfast into the night.

Off-holiday, it's a top-tier spot for a proper Guinness, live Premier League, and a plate of bangers and mash.

St Patrick's Day plan

Buy a ticket in advance for the street party — it sells out. Full Irish breakfast from open, live music all day, Guinness poured properly (135 seconds, no exceptions).
